This interdisciplinary panel discussion investigates the opportunities pre- sented by various internet platforms, discussed by filmmakers, poets and publishers, with respect to meaningful uses of the platforms; and attempts to give a forecast on the future of poetry and poetry films on the internet. What is the role of video platforms, social networks and other digital media, in the perception and distribution of poetry and poetry films? What conditions must be fulfilled in order to run an international video platform with poetry films, and to what extent do poetry films, and the poems they are based on, find a wider audience through the use of digital media? How can copyright and intellectual property be protected?
